For nearly fifty years I was responsible for furnishing the Landmark Trust's buildings. This involved buying the objects, having them restored, transporting them to site and furnishing.

To this end, I supplied robust English furniture, predominantly oak, which was capable of withstanding the vagaries of a holiday property. It has been hard to move away from this mindset so, consequently, much of the furniture I like to buy is of the same stamp. However, I also have an interest in good English upholstery as well as designed English furniture from Gillow to Gordon Russell.

If you cannot find anything on the website still for sale but fancy an object which has been sold, please tell me, and I can try and source one for you. Everything is posted as it is found and any faults are listed.
